What is Kyiv on the Run Tours?

It is a City Tour that takes place running/jogging/power walking throughout the streets of Kyiv. It is guided by an experienced local guide, which will, on the run, describe the history and relevant places and events that take place in our city. We offer 4 different Tours around the city: Antient Hills Morning Challenge, Kyiv Parks Cheerfulness, Vechirnij Kyiv (Kyiv in the floodlights), 'A la carte' Tour.

Do I have to book my is Kyiv on the Run Tour in advance?

Yes. The sooner the better,  in order to recieve the details of the Tour. But of course to can join any tour you see scheduled for today and tomorrow on the main page.

How do I confirm my reservation and details of my Tour?

The reservation will be completed by sending us the form in our website with all the required information, or by contacting us by phone at +38 095 839 39 71. If you do it electronically, we’ll confirm your reservation by email.

How long do the is Kyiv on the Run Tours last?

The Tour  lasts in average approximately 45 minutes/1 hour or in case of power walking 1hour and a half. The time can be changed according to the pace of your Hotel and the Tour chosen.

Are there more people in the Tour?

The maximum number of people on any tour is three.

Are any discounts available?

Yes, from two people who come together you can get different a discount: one person - 200 grn (25 usd, 19 euro), two people - 360 grn (45 USD, 33 euro), three people - 480 grn (60 usd, 44 euro).

Do I have to sign a disclaimer?

Yes. Before you start your any Kyiv on the Tour you will be required to sign a disclaimer form. All participants are required to agree to and sign the disclaimer below prior to the commencement of the tour in order to participate in the Kyiv on the RunTour.
Kyiv on the Run Tours can involve the risk of injury as tours involve physical activity and take place near roads.  While the Kyiv on the Run Tours tours take all reasonable care in the running of its tours, it accepts no responsibility for injury or loss while participating in a tour.  All participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit for participating in a tour and that they accept all possible risks involved.

Where do the tours start and finish?

This will be stated in the confirmation email. But in the general you can see starting place pointed on the maps: Antient Hills Morning Challenge, Kyiv Parks Cheerfullness, Vechirnij Kyiv (Kyiv in the floodlights).

What happens if there is bad weather?

The tour runs regardless of the weather and the tour guide may alter the course slightly to accommodate the weather.  In the case of heavy rain or extreme heat or snow or rain tours will be cancelled. If the Tour should be cancelled due to bad weather, we offer two options: to cancel the Tour with cost sending back to your account in case of prepayment, or to rebook it for another day.

Does the guide carry a backpack during the Tour?

Yes. Your guide will carry a backpack in case you need to carry any small personal objects like wallet or keys.

Does Kyiv on the Run Tours include water?

Yes. The guide will carry one bottle of water for each person in the tour.

Will there be water or toilets available?

There are water fountains and toilets available at selected points along the route. Water is also availiable with your guide.

Which is the longest distance I can run?

There is no limit, but we require that you make your reservation with enough time to be able to organize it.

Does Kyiv on the Run Tours offers Tours all year round?

Yes. We run all year. But of course, if it is a heavy rain or snow, running/jogging/power walking is impossible for obvious reason.

Can I run in a different time from the ones you offer?

Yes, you can. As soon as you contact us and write about the time you would like to have your Tour, we will organize a different time for you.

What if I need to cancel?

In the case of cancellation please ensure you notify Kyiv on the Run Tours at least 18 hours prior to the tour.

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable jogging clothes suitable to the weather.

How much does the Tour cost?

The cost of the Tour is 200 grn/25 usd/19 euro for one person; 360 grn/45 usd/33 euro for two people; 480 grn/60 usd/44 euro for three people.
The price includes: Local Runner Guide during the whole Tour; Water; Digital pictures of you during the Tour.

Where do I meet my Guide?

You will meet your guide at the meeting point depending on the Tour chosen. Or you can also meet your guide in the lobby of your Hotel. This will be specified in the confirmation letter. Our guides run with the t-shirt of the company and a backpack, therefore you will be able to identify them easily.

How can I pay for my Tour?

To pay for your Tour is very easy. You can pay either by cash to your guide in person or you can pay by credit card when making your online order.
